On a day when lawmakers from both sides of the aisle in Washington are asking Americans to unite, a loyal Starbucks customer says she was targeted for supporting President Trump.
Starbucks said they are making sure this incident won’t happen again.
A North Carolina woman, Kayla Hart went to her local Starbucks in Dilworth, NC wearing a t-shirt in support of President Trump and was bullied by her barista.

Hart says when she walked into the coffee shop the cashier laughed in her face, Mail Online reported.
Instead of getting her name on her cup as is the custom at the widely popular chain, she got a political message instead. In place of her name, her cup label read ‘BUILD A WALL’ on her venti green iced tea.
“I don’t know what politics has to do with getting a cup of coffee,” Hart said. “I just walked out because everyone was staring. I just found it really sad that I can’t wear a t-shirt with our president without being made fun of.”
‘I just found it really sad that I can’t wear a t-shirt with our president without being made fun of,’ Hart said.
Hart immediately emailed Starbucks customer service, and they released the following statement about the incident:
‘We failed to meet this customer’s expectations of us, and we have apologized and are working directly with her to make it right.
‘We have spoken with our store partners about this situation and are using this as a coaching opportunity for the future.
‘I just want it to be put out there so people know this is what’s occurring,’ Hart added. ‘I don’t think it’s right you should be humiliated for wearing a t-shirt with your opinion on it.’
This isn’t the first time Starbucks has been in trouble with the public.
Back during the Gulf War, the company refused to send coffee to a group of Marines because the company didn’t support the effort.
I haven’t been back in one of their stores since. This supports my effort to boycott the company even more now!!!
Boycott Starbucks. Howard Schultz is a billionaire who wants to give 10,000 jobs to refugees.
