Justin Bieber pulled the plug on his Purpose tour because he “rededicated his life to Christ.

Bieber’s decision seemed to come out of the blue, but our sources say it was squarely based on what Bieber believes is religious enlightenment. Bieber said he canceled due to exhaustion, but that’s simply not true. Plus, his remaining touring schedule was not taxing travel-wise.

On Monday, he canceled his remaining concerts for this year, which were spread across four months and included shows in East Rutherford, N.J., Hong Kong and Singapore, citing only “unforeseen circumstances.”

“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them,” a statement sent by a publicist said. “However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.” (Last week, Mr. Bieber had been barred from performing in mainland China because of past “bad behavior.”)

Channel Nine entertainment guru Richard Wilkins appeared on Today Extra and claimed that the real reason behind Bieber’s cancellation was faith. According to an unnamed source, he also claimed that the famous singer decided to step off the tour bus because he wants to ‘reconnect with his faith’ and possibly start his own church.

Justin was in the country, earlier this month to attended the annual Hillsong Church conference earlier this month in Sydney and Richard thinks that Bieber may want to connect permanently connection with the church.

Daily Mail
cites Richard: ‘I am led to believe that the real reason he has come off the road is because he wants to reconnect with his faith and he may be even planning to start his own church. We know that he was in the country a few weeks ago having meetings and attending the big Hillsong convention that they had here. [He’s] very close to a lot of the Hillsong people.’

‘Whether he’s looking at teaming up with them in something of a more permanent situation or doing some sort of religious activity on his own – starting his own church – we’re not quite sure, but that’s the word from an inside source,’ he added.

Maybe there is hope for the heathens in Hollywood after all.
