Muslim immigrants routinely squat on privately-owned land or public property, but this can cause hardship for everyone, not just them.
The result of these sorts of invasions causes everyone to suffer. Citizens looked upon to pay taxes to cover the costs of immigration go without and then they can’t pay any taxes at all.
A greek farmer named Lazarous Oulis was kind enough to allow a few immigrants on his land temporarily, but it turned out to be a massive invasion that withheld him from his livelihood.
What did Mr. Oulis do? He only did what made the most sense to him and proceeded to plow his fields anyway.
Liberals will no doubt see this as heartless, but most of the world is cheering this farmer for standing up for his own property rights.
Mr. Oulis said:
“I need to plow my field. Not somebody else’s field, mine! I have a business with 70-80 calves, I want to produce (food for them), feed them, because, financially, I can’t take this anymore.”
“I told some NGOs here that I would give them a couple of acres so they could build two large sheds and I could save the rest of my field, nobody paid attention to me.”
“I don’t have a problem with the (refugee) families, no problem at all. I could have been in their place. But I, also, have obligations.”
Mr. Oulis gave up on any help and took matters into his own hands.
