Bernie Sanders Called Baltimore ‘a Disgrace,’ Worse Than N. Korea-Now Trump Is A Racist For His Remarks

President is working to hold elected Democrats accountable for their own local problems and issues — urgent fixes are long overdue, but it seems when he tries to point what the Dems have done with their districts he is called a racist.

“Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous.

Trump tweeted yesterday.

The Dems were quick to label Trump as racist for pointing the obvious.

And Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) declared, “Elijah Cummings is one of my dearest friends. He is a good man through and through, and he fights for what is just in this country. To be attacked by a president issuing racist tweets is beyond insulting. It is disgusting.”

But will Democrats remember that one of their own — Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont — himself viciously called out Baltimore and its big problems just a few short years ago?

“Anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you’re in a wealthy nation,” Sanders said during a visit to the city’s West Baltimore section in December 2015, The Baltimore Sun reported. “You would think that you were in a Third World country.”

The independent U.S. senator from Vermont also referred to Baltimore as “a community in which half of the people don’t have jobs.”

He also tweeted:

“Residents of Baltimore’s poorest boroughs have lifespans shorter than people living under dictatorship in North Korea. That is a disgrace.”

It is undeniable that many cities and districts run by Democrat leaders have tremendous problems, including crime, filth, and inefficiency.

But when President Trump points the obvious he is called a racist.
