During a Sunday speech at Martin Luther King Jr.’s Atlanta church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, President Joe Biden made a point to emphasize the fact that he attended “the black church” during his high school and college years.
There’s one small problem with the president’s story: members of the church he claims to have gone to don’t remember him.
Biden was also invited to speak as part of a celebration of King’s legacy ahead of his birthday on Monday.
Biden: “I used to go to 7:30 mass every morning in high school and then in college, before I went to the Black church. Not a joke.” (Not a thing he ever did)

The church in question, Union Baptist Church in Wilmington, Delaware, was run by Rev. Otis Herring until his passing in 1996, the Free Beacon reported.
A number of long-time church members have no memory of the young Biden ever attending a Union Baptist Church service.
“No. Not at our building. I think he was probably in Claymont, [Del.,] [or] in Pennsylvania then,” one member told the Free Beacon in 2020.
Another member, Juanita Matthew, who had been attending services at Union Baptist since the ’70s, doesn’t remember Biden either.
That being said, when Biden first became a newly elected senator, he became a friend of the church and Rev. Herring shortly after his first wife and daughter died in a car accident, Matthew told the Free Beacon.
In his remarks, the president said that for all the progress the United States has made, the country had now reached a critical point in its history.
After labeling half of the American people as racist and telling few lies that not one of the mainstream media fact-checked Biden decided to show his singing abilities today.
Biden was speaking at the National Action Network’s annual breakfast on the King holiday.
In particular, he tried singing happy birthday but Biden sounded like a man before suffering a stroke.
Biden sang ‘Happy Birthday” to Arndrea Waters King, wife of MLK III and it was a total disaster.
Joe Biden sang off-key and forgot Arndrea Waters King’s name.
“Happy birthday dear (unintelligible mumble)”
President Joe Biden will join civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton and the National Action Network for their Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Breakfast, where Biden will deliver the keynote address, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. on Monday.
The annual event will honor former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Arndrea Waters King and “other national leaders who have kept Dr. King’s mission alive,” the group said.
In addition to Pelosi, honorees include Arndrea Waters King, who is president of the Drum Major Institute; Minyon Moore, principal of the Dewey Square Group; and Ray Curry, president of United Automobile, Aerospace & Agricultural Implement Workers of America, or UAW.
Other participants include Martin Luther King, III, chairman of the board of the Drum Major Institute; Ebonie Riley, senior vice president of policy and strategic partnerships at National Action Network’s Washington Bureau; and Tanya L. Lombard, vice president of Global Public, and External Affairs and head of multicultural strategic initiatives at AT&T Services, Inc.
The event is among many honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on M
