Jamaican Immigrant Member Of the GOP Launches Campaign To Defeat Ocasio-Cortez (Video)

Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, known as “the squad,” held a press conference Monday to discuss President Donald Trump’s tweets that told them to go back to their own countries.

Now one of them has an opponent that they can’t use the race card against!

Republican Scherie Murray, 38, is a woman of color and an immigrant from Jamaica and she has her sights set on Rep. Ocasio-Cortez.

“There is a crisis in Queens, and it’s called AOC,” Murray, 38, told Fox News. “And instead of focusing on us, she’s focusing on being famous. Mainly rolling back progress and authoring the job-killing Green New Deal and killing the Amazon New York deal.”

“Your representative in Washington chooses self-promotion over service, conflict over constituents, resistance over assistance,” Murray said in the video. “Queens and the Bronx needs someone who will create jobs instead of turning them away.”

Fox News asked Murray about the feud between Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and The Squad and President Donald Trump and she is not a fan.

“I think it’s disgusting, to be quite honest,” she said. “I think we are missing the point of why we’re elected to public office: to legislate on policy, to deliver results to those kitchen table issues that are affecting everyday Americans.”

Is that how I would have worded it? No. Do I think the president is a racist? No.” she said of President Trump’s tweet.

“But I want to get back to the core of why we’re even talking about this – there is a crisis at our border,” she said.

“A Republican can win the district,” the Republican said. “There is an absolute path to victory when you look at a general election campaign.”

This woman has a chance if people realize that AOC is a total fraud!
