Washington, D.C. – You’ve got to see this. A video from the Capital Jewish Museum shooting on May 21, 2025, has gone viral, racking up over 2 million views, and it’s revealing details that are sending shivers down your spine. The shooter, 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, was heard chanting, “Free, free Palestine!” while in custody, and now we’re learning he’s tied to a left-wing group and had a job with a progressive outfit. Meanwhile, the victims were a young couple, about to get engaged, with dreams of a future in Jerusalem. It’s a story that’s breaking hearts and boiling blood, and President Trump’s already weighed in, calling for an end to this madness.
The video, shows the chaos inside the museum after the shooting. You can see police officers in dark uniforms, one with “POLICE” on his back, escorting a man in a keffiyeh out of the building. The room’s stark, with white walls and a brick accent, and there’s a black-draped table with a yellow caution sign nearby. The moment is tense, the air thick with urgency, and it’s clear this was no ordinary night. The attack happened during a reception for young professionals, a symposium on the “humanitarian situation in Israel & Gaza,” hosted by the American Jewish Committee’s DC Young Professional Board. One X user who was there described it as heartbreaking, a gathering of hope turned into a nightmare.

But here’s what they’re not telling you. Rodriguez, according to reporter Reza Chowdhury, is a member of the Chicago chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a communist front group. Matthew Foldi dug deeper, revealing Rodriguez worked for The History Makers, a left-wing outfit in Chicago. It’s a connection that’s got conservatives fuming. “This guy’s a radical, and they’re protecting him?” one user on X wrote. Another added, “He’s part of the problem—Trump’s the only one who can fix this!”

This is likely the LinkedIn page of Elias Rodriguez, the alleged murderer of two Israeli diplomats:

The victims, Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, were a couple, deeply in love, with Lischinsky planning to propose in Jerusalem next week. Israeli Ambassador Yechiel Leiter shared this at a press briefing, his voice heavy with sorrow. The scene outside the museum, near the FBI headquarters and Capitol Hill, was a stark contrast to the tragedy inside.
Israel’s ambassador to the US says one of the victims had just bought a ring to propose in Jerusalem.
“We won’t be afraid — together we will overcome moral depravity,” Yechiel Leiter said after two Israeli embassy staff were shot dead in Washington.https://t.co/sWkTQ0pm3Y pic.twitter.com/rWFxetPClE

Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino, and Acting U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro were on site, reassuring the Jewish community that everything possible was being done. Bondi’s words at the MPD press conference were a balm, but the pain remains.
President Trump’s social media post early Thursday morning cut through the noise. “These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW! Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA. Condolences to the families of the victims. So sad that such things as this can happen! God Bless You ALL!” It’s a call to action, a reminder that this can’t be the new normal. The image of the museum, with its modern design and tragic history, captures a moment that’s going to stick, proving once again that only leaders like Trump can navigate us through such dark times. This story isn’t just about a shooting; it’s about the soul of America, and we can’t afford to look away.
