Pardoned January 6 defendants and their supporters gathered peacefully in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday to mark the **five-year anniversary of January 6**, an event that has become one of the most weaponized moments in modern American political history.
More than **1,500 Americans** — many of them **non-violent, first-time offenders** — were hunted down, prosecuted, and imprisoned by Joe Biden’s Department of Justice under Attorney General Merrick Garland. Grandmothers, veterans, and everyday citizens were thrown into what many now openly call the **D.C. gulag**, while violent criminals across the country were released or ignored.
That chapter officially ended last January, when **President Trump issued blanket clemency to all January 6 defendants** shortly after being sworn in. This week’s gathering wasn’t a riot. It wasn’t an insurrection. It was a **patriotic march**.
Marchers waved American flags and carried signs reading:
* “J6 Was an Inside Job”
* “Thanks for Our Pardons, Trump”
* “Arrest Pelosi”
Former Proud Boys leader **Enrique Tarrio** led a memorial march honoring **Ashli Babbitt**, the unarmed protester shot and killed by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd inside the Capitol on January 6.
And that’s when the left showed up.
Known leftist agitator **Patricia Eguino**, infamous for **harassing Ashli Babbitt’s mother for years**, arrived at the gathering armed with a bullhorn and a bad attitude. She began screaming at demonstrators, provoking confrontations and inserting herself directly into the crowd.
Video shows tensions escalating as Eguino repeatedly antagonized attendees. After one confrontation, she retreated — only to return **a second time**, directly in front of Capitol Police, where things finally boiled over.
A physical altercation broke out between two women, with Eguino at the center of the chaos she helped create. This time, police had no choice but to step in.

A longer clip shows Eguino attacking earlier, leaving the scene, and then **coming back to instigate again**, right in front of officers — a move that ended exactly how anyone with common sense would expect.

This wasn’t “peaceful protest.”
This wasn’t “speaking truth to power.”
This was a **known left-wing agitator** showing up to harass pardoned Americans honoring their freedom — and finding out that provoking crowds and cops at the same time doesn’t end well.
The irony is impossible to ignore. The same people who spent years calling January 6 defendants “violent extremists” are now **defending the very agitators who start physical confrontations at the Capitol**.
Once again, the cameras didn’t lie.
