President Trump didn’t hold back during his interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker.
When asked about the situation in California, Trump unloaded on the state’s endless vote counting and called the whole process crooked. He pointed out that days after the election, they still don’t even have a winner — and said this is exactly how dirty elections work in places like California.
Then he delivered the line that shut it all down:
“I’ve given you enough time.”
He dropped the mic on the ground and walked off.

Welker was left standing there looking stunned. She tried to recover by saying they had traveled all the way to Wisconsin for the interview and even blamed the rain, but the moment was already over. Trump had made his point and moved on.
This is the same California where we’ve seen ballots with smiley faces counted as valid votes. The same state where massive late-night ballot drops produced results that defied basic math. The same state where counting drags on for days or weeks while the media rushes to tell everyone questioning it that they’re spreading “misinformation.”
Trump said what millions of Americans are thinking: something is very wrong with how elections are being run in California, and the long, suspicious counting process is a huge part of the problem.
He didn’t sugarcoat it. He didn’t play along with the media’s usual framing. He called it crooked — to the reporter’s face — and then walked away.
Classic Trump. He gave them exactly what they asked for, and then some.
