Democrat politicians, media hacks, and far-left activists spread a butchered video clip from last year that took President Trump out of context, to falsely claim he called immigrants “animals.”
The truth of the matter is, he was referring to members of the notoriously hyper-violent MS-13 street gang.
MS-13 is a gang of mostly illegal immigrants who traffic dangerous narcotics and murder people in the most horrific, torturous ways.
A Twitter user named Mark Elliott reposed an old CSPAN video from 2018 where they deceptively edited it out of context so it could be spread that Trump was calling illegal immigrants and asylum seekers “animals.”
Elliot retweeted the video with the caption “.@realDonaldTrump on people asking for asylum ‘These aren’t people. These are animals.'”

Here is the original deceptive video tweeted by CSPAN:

Surprisingly, CNN was one of the few in the media that accurately reported the full context of what Trump said when he made the remarks.
Here is the part of the transcript that puts it in context:
Sheriff Margaret Mims: “There could be an MS-13 member I know about — if they don’t reach a certain threshold, I cannot tell ICE about it.”
President Donald Trump: “We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — and we’re stopping a lot of them — but we’re taking people out of the country. You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals. And we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast, we get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy.”

The lie went round back in May and most everyone knows by now he was talking about MS-13. Many Democrats, like Nancy Pelosi even acknowledged he was talking about MS-13, but that Trump was still the bad guy for calling them animals.
So there is no doubt that many of these Democrat politicians, far-left activists, and media hacks know full well they are perpetuating the lie again and have been doing it since Friday.
Here are some of them in all of their glory:
Democrat presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand: “Racist language like this has led to violence throughout the world’s history. No human being is an animal. We have to be better than this.”
