Karl himself relayed the conversation: “He was calling to see if I was ok with what happened last night… he reiterated many of the things he said in his press conference last night, emphasizing the unity he felt in that moment… and he was quite firm about this: ‘That dinner must be rescheduled.’”
Think about that for a second. After surviving yet another attempt on his life, Trump’s first instinct was to reach out to a guy who’s been a constant critic and make sure he was alright. That’s not politics. That’s character.
And it didn’t stop there. Even with everything going on that night, Trump called presidential envoy Ric Grenell — whose mother had just passed away on Wednesday — simply to see how he was holding up.
Grenell posted about it himself, clearly moved by the gesture.
This is the real Donald Trump. The one the media and the radical left have tried to paint as some kind of monster for years. The same man who’s fought through two assassination attempts, lawfare, impeachments, and nonstop demonization — and still finds time to check on people, even those who attack him daily.
Hell really did freeze over for a moment. For once, instead of the usual hit pieces, some in the media had to report on Trump’s strength, his composure, and his basic humanity. They couldn’t ignore it. The video evidence and the firsthand accounts from their own colleagues made it impossible.
Of course, don’t expect this to last. The corporate media will go right back to the same old lies by Monday. But for one night, the mask slipped. Americans saw the contrast: a president who stays steady under fire while the people who hate him panic and then quietly admit how remarkable he is.
