After Her Town Hall Flop, Kamala Harris Stops at Philadelphia Deli to Beg for Support—But Philly’s Black Women Are Team Trump (Video)

Kamala Harris’s campaign tour hit another rough patch as she stopped by the iconic 4th Street Deli in Philadelphia, hoping to rally support. This desperate move came just after her disastrous town hall on CNN, where Harris fumbled her responses on border security and Trump’s wall, leading even CNN’s Anderson Cooper to challenge her inconsistencies. The town hall, which was meant to boost her appeal, instead showcased her struggles, with Harris getting caught in her own contradictions about supporting a border wall while criticizing Trump’s immigration policies.

Following that flop, Harris tried to gain ground in a deep-blue city, but it didn’t go as planned. Despite her attempt to charm locals at the deli, Philadelphia’s Black women were having none of it. Many voiced their support for President Trump, rejecting Harris’s pitch.

“At the end of the day, I don’t think she has what it takes to go up against Putin — and go up against these other presidents that are built for this,” said one Black woman, a clear indication that Harris’s leadership is being questioned even in traditionally Democrat-leaning areas.

While speaking at the deli, Harris once again leaned on her tired “turn the page” narrative, trying to shift the conversation away from divisive politics, but it sounded hollow. “We all say turn the page on an era that was about trying to have people point fingers at each other,” she said.

But as she campaigns in the final stretch, even in Democratic strongholds like Philly, it’s becoming clearer that many voters, particularly Black women, are now Team Trump.
