Ivanka Trump looked like she woke up on the right side of the bed on Tuesday morning, as she left her Washington, D.C. home with a beaming smile on her face, looking as bright and happy as the bold yellow ensemble she was wearing.

The 35-year-old left the home she shares with her husband and their three children, following in the footsteps of Jared Kushner, who headed into the office shortly before his wife.

Looking chic and cheerful in a floral-patterned yellow dress and duck egg-blue heels from her own fashion line, Ivanka was the picture of summer style as she made her way down the front steps of the house, before heading to the inaugural FIRST Global Challenge, a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics event held for high schoolers from 160 nations in D.C.

Wearing her long blonde hair in lose waves around her shoulders, Ivanka accessorized her colorful outfit with a pair of chunky silver and turquoise earrings, leaving her neck and wrists free from jewelry.

She also left off her wedding ring, which she is seldom seen wearing.

Ivanka made sure to smile and wave at the cameras as she made her way into a waiting SUV that was ready to whisk her off for another day of duties as an advisor to her father, President Donald Trump.

Tuesday morning saw Ivanka attending a global conference for high school children from around the world, the FIRST Global Challenge, a competitive robotics event which plays host to children from 160 nations, and is aimed at increasing their knowledge of STEM.

Sharing a video from the conference on her Twitter page, and her Instagram, Ivanka noted that it was an ‘honor’ to have been invited to attend the competition, where she was asked to welcome its participants.

‘It was an honor to attend the FIRST Robotics Competition, which brings together the brightest minds of our global youth to showcase technology and engineering skills,’ she wrote in her Instagram caption. ‘With more than 160 countries represented, the FIRST Competition goes beyond robotics.

‘It is a game that everyone can play and where everyone can turn pro! I am excited to meet these young men and women, whose work ethic, ingenuity and passion has driven them to achieve tremendous success and granted them the opportunity to represent their home countries at this challenging competition.

‘Teaching robotics and engineering skills to the next generation of innovators is critical to the future of our economy and the world! #STEM #Robotics’
