Woketivist Lawmaker Stages “Moral Sit-In” at DeSantis’ Office — Here’s the Government’s Brutal FAFO Response

Florida Democrat state Rep. Angie Nixon thought she was making a powerful statement.

Instead, she just learned the hard way that actions have consequences.

After the Florida House passed a new congressional map that strengthens Republican advantages, Nixon decided to throw a very public tantrum. She staged what she called a “moral sit-in” right outside Governor Ron DeSantis’ office on Friday, refusing to leave and turning the whole thing into a protest spectacle.

She wasn’t alone in her disruption. Earlier in the session she had already been reprimanded by the House Rules and Ethics Committee for using a bullhorn on the floor.

On Thursday, the House officially voted to reprimand her for intentionally and repeatedly breaking the rules.

But Nixon doubled down. She wanted the map undone, she wanted attention, and she wanted to boost her U.S. Senate campaign.

Here’s her “moral sit-in” in action:

A few hours into the sit-in, when she still refused to leave, Florida state troopers arrested her on a trespassing charge. She was led out in handcuffs.

DeSantis responded the way only he can — short, direct, and zero tolerance for nonsense:

FAFO

He later added that she deserved the arrest.

This is what happens when you push the boundaries and expect everyone else to just accept it. The left loves to call it “peaceful protest” until the moment someone actually enforces the rules. Then it’s suddenly “authoritarian.”

The new map she’s protesting could net Republicans up to four additional House seats in the midterms. Florida already holds 20 of the state’s 28 congressional seats. Democrats are panicking because fair maps and population shifts are working against them.

DeSantis, now in his final year due to term limits, continues to govern like a man who still has work to do. He signed the map into law, backed law enforcement, and refused to let a publicity-seeking lawmaker turn the governor’s office into a circus.

Nixon wanted her moment. She got it — just not the one she was hoping for.

Florida voters are watching, and so is the rest of the country. When elected officials act like entitled children, the adults in the room still run the state.

DeSantis just reminded everyone why he’s been so effective: he doesn’t tolerate the circus.
