DHS’s Weak Decision to Let Protesters Inspect Vehicles at Newark ICE Facility Blows Up — Last Night’s Videos Prove It

This is what happens when you show weakness to the mob.

After days of leftist rioters blocking entrances, building trash barricades, and trying to shut down the ICE facility in Newark, DHS made the decision to allow the protesters to inspect vehicles going in and out. The hope was apparently to de-escalate the situation.

Instead, it completely backfired.

The rioters are still dissatisfied, and violent brawls broke out last night as the chaos continued.

Federal agents are now being forced to deal with crowds swarming them, and the situation has turned into repeated physical confrontations. Agents have responded with tasers, pepper spray, and arrests, but the left keeps pushing.

This is the predictable result of compromise with radicals who have zero respect for the law. Instead of immediately clearing the area with overwhelming force and making mass arrests, someone in the chain of command thought letting the mob “inspect” federal vehicles would calm things down. All it did was embolden them further.

President Trump has been clear from day one: enforce the law, secure the border, and stop the invasion. His administration is finally carrying out the mass deportations Americans demanded. The riots we’re seeing in Newark are the left’s desperate attempt to stop that from happening.

The American people are watching this unfold in real time. They see federal agents being attacked and harassed while trying to do their jobs, and they see a government that initially tried to negotiate with the very people breaking the law.

This kind of weakness only invites more violence. The rioters need to be arrested, charged, and held without the usual catch-and-release games. Every time they clash with agents, the charges should stack higher and the consequences should get steeper.

The rule of law is not optional. Federal facilities are not up for negotiation with street mobs. DHS needs to end this circus immediately and restore order at the Newark facility.

Trump’s message is simple and correct: no more tolerance for chaos. The American people voted for strength, and they expect it to be delivered.
