Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey announced Tuesday he’s withdrawing all financial incentive dollars to have Nike Opens a New Window. open a manufacturing plant in the state after a report said the sneaker company pulled its “Betsy Ross Flag” shoes following Colin Kaepernick’s criticism.
Nike has planned a massive shoe manufacturing plant in Goodyear, with an initial investment of $184.5 million. The plant would create over 500 full-time jobs.
But Nike didn’t face criticism only from Arizona Governor!
Don Trump Jr. and former navy seal Dan Crenshaw were amongst many other that decided to send a response to Nike and Kaepernick for their disrespect of the American revolution flag!
Dan Crenshaw Tweeted:
” Those who have a problem with the flag of the American Revolution, Crenshaw suggested, might want to find a “permanent safe space” — or communist Cuba, which Kaepernick infamously praised in 2016.
If you’re offended by a shoe celebrating the flag of the American Revolution, it’s a good indication that you may be better off living in a permanent safe space.
Or Cuba.

Donald Trump Jr. responds at Nike, with one photo from Barack Obama’s inauguration.
“Weird that no one had a problem with The Betsy Ross Flag when it flew over Obama’s inauguration. Now it’s not patriotic… ok got it?!? #morons,” Trump Jr. captioned his post on Instagram Wednesday, along with a photo from Obama’s second inauguration ceremony in 2013.

.@Kaepernick7 told @Nike the #BetsyRoss flag is an offensive symbol because of its “connection to an era of slavery.”

In a second photo, the first son shared a close-up shot of the five flags hanging in the background of the celebration on Capitol Hill. On each end hung two Betsy Ross flags. The flag includes 13 stars in a circle with 13 red and white stripes, representing the first 13 colonies.
I am sure the list of any Americans is getting bigger by the day!
This decision will not help Nike at all!
