Lying Michael Cohen got into a fight on twitter with President Trump on Friday over whether Cohen had ever requested a pardon from his former boss.
CNBC reported:
Cohen, as part of his guilty plea, said Trump directed him to facilitate the payments of hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal shortly before the 2016 presidential election to keep them both quiet about their alleged affairs with Trump. Cohen also pleaded guilty to having lied to Congress about details of an aborted plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing and denies having had sex with either Daniels or McDougal.
On Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Cohen in the spring of 2018 told his lawyer at the time to ask about the possibility of a pardon from Trump, several weeks after the FBI raided his Manhattan home, office and the hotel room where he has been living with his family during ongoing home renovations.
Cohen’s attorney, longtime Clinton operative Lanny Davis, claims that Cohen “directed his attorney to explore possibilities of a pardon at one point with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani as well as other lawyers advising President Trump.”
However Davis added, “after July 2, 2018, Mr. Cohen authorized me as a new lawyer to say publicly Mr. Cohen would never accept a pardon from President Trump even if offered. That continues to be the case. And his statement at the Oversight Hearing was true — and consistent with his post joint defense agreement commitment to tell the truth.”
On Friday, Trump responded with a series of tweets on Twitter and retweets from journalists and lawmakers who back his version of the matter, sinking Cohen’s boat.
Bad lawyer and fraudster Michael Cohen said under sworn testimony that he never asked for a Pardon. His lawyers totally contradicted him. He lied! Additionally, he directly asked me for a pardon. I said NO. He lied again! He also badly wanted to work at the White House. He lied!

Cohen claimed his shady father-in-law’s “in the clothing business” when in fact he’s loan shark in same taxicab medallion biz as Cohen. More, his father-in-law’s a convicted fraudster who was named, along with Cohen’s wife, in investigation. Cohen chose to sing on Trump instead

.@RepMikeTurner “The only time that Michael Cohen told the truth is when he pled that he is guilty.” Also when he said no collusion and I did not tell him to lie!”

Cohen shot back:
Just another set of lies by @POTUS @realdonaldtrump. Mr. President…let me remind you that today is #InternationalWomensDay. You may want use today to apologize for your own #lies and #DirtyDeeds to women like Karen McDougal and Stephanie Clifford.

You would think if Cohen was being honest and his testimony to congress had any significance, he would avoid commenting in public on the matter, but since a book deal is not out of the question, his claims are obviously for publicity and nobody really takes him serious except for mainstream media looking for a negative story and leftist with Trump Derangement syndrome who will believe anything they hear negative about Trump at the drop of a hat.
Breitbart reports that a new The Hill-HarrisX poll finds that just 37% of respondents found Cohen’s testimony last week to be credible and only 58% of Democrats are willing to say they think he was telling the truth.
So anyone siding with Cohen in this matter and propping him up as if his “sworn testimony” is significant is only blowing propaganda.
What it boils down to is if Democrats can’t get Trump impeached, they hope cheap innuendo from liars like Cohen being amplified by the mainstream media fake news will convince people that Trump must have something to hide so they can chip away enough re-election votes to get him out of office.
