President Biden starts the first visit to the Middle East of his presidency with a monumental task: assuring uneasy Israeli and Saudi Arabian officials that he is committed to preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power.
Mr. Biden begins the visit Wednesday with a three-day stop in Israel, where officials say Iran’s quickly evolving nuclear program is at the top of their agenda for talks with the U.S. president. Biden made reviving the Iran nuclear deal, brokered by Barack Obama in 2015 and abandoned by Donald Trump in 2018, a key priority as he entered office.
Joe visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, and attended the opening ceremony of the Macabbiah Games — an Olympic-style multi-sport event for Jewish athletes — and participate in the inaugural meeting of the “I2U2” group alongside Israeli, Emerati, and Indian leaders.
But Biden wanted to talk a little about the history of Israel and he mentioned the holocaust.
Biden made another blunder and sounded like the person who created the holocaust himself, certain Adolf Hitler!

The president will also visit the West Bank on Friday for a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas before flying to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to meet with Saudi officials and leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations.
“We have a full agenda over the next few days,” Mr. Biden said. “Because the relationship between Israel and the United States covers every issue that matters to our mutual futures”.
